Welcome to Paulie’s where we want everyone to feel at home and enjoy comfort food redefined. 

Everyone knows a “Paulie” – whether it be a friend, a brother, an uncle, or that crazy guy down the street who would do anything for anyone.  Our Paulie is all of these!  He grew up in New York, working in restaurants as a youth and has always wanted to own his own restaurant.  For years people have enjoyed eating the food Paulie creates and Paulie enjoys cooking for others.  To Paulie, everyone is family, should feel at home and be well fed!  Opening Paulie’s allows him to do just that.  It is a dream come true! 

We didn’t start out here, though.  Our story began in March of 2021 when we opened Optimal Performance Golf (OPG), MN’s First Indoor Country Club and Golf Academy located in Maple Grove.  We developed a first-class experience rooted in our "guest first" culture.  Every guest who walks into OPG is treated like family and is served with respect, individualism and a little fun.  While golf is our primary focus at OPG, we operate an on-site restaurant to ensure our guests truly have the best overall experience. 

Paulie would say the restaurant at OPG is his “starter kitchen” and opening Paulie’s as a full scale restaurant is the “real deal.”  At Paulie’s, we flip our focus to food first, where you will enjoy upscale comfort food with an Italian American flare in a casual upscale environment.  Our food is inspired by the dishes we grew up eating and our passion is in transforming those familiar, comfortable, home-made dishes into refined flavors, while preserving the feeling of home we get when eating them.  Every member of the team is encouraged to contribute to our dishes and the end product is developed through collaboration between owners, the general manager and the kitchen team.  When it comes to cocktails, our bartenders bring creative and tasty options to the menu. 

Of course, the restaurant wouldn’t be complete without simulators.  Paulie’s has integrated entertainment into the dining experience with the introduction of two (2) Full Swing multi-sport simulators, perfect for party events like birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, reunions, etc. or to simply bring people together for a night on the town.  These simulators bring people together in a unique way, with over 14 of your favorite sports like basketball, football, hockey, golf, zombie dodgeball and many more to enjoy while spending time with friends or family.
